Took a beating these last few days. Looked good all month until saturday night! Decided to drink and play at the same time. Breaking Rule # 12! Lost nearly 35% of my bankroll. Walked away with a shitty attitude and booze on my breath. Continued to slide Sunday and Monday! I set myself back three months in three days!!!
well when u play drunk u get what u deserve!! after doing something soooo stupid you should have punished yourself with a 2 to 3 day break!!

instead of laughing at the guy why don't you support him. i know for a fact that we have all done this. yes it's a bad mixture - drinking and gambling. just don't do it. now you will know better next time stacksnack.

Ive done it and it doesnt take much to just say F@#* it and start donkin your chips off . It sure does hurt the next day tho!!

Nah laughing is good for him.. and No we havent all done this. I NEVER gamble and drink and hardly ever drink anyways LOL Now getting high and playing helps as it calms u and relaxes u just enough to where u aint spewing just to be spewing!! In some Big buyins live ive had a drink(mixed) just to relax me but never more then one or two.. Good luck and take it as a valuable lesson learned. You can build it again.Quote:

I am not busted, by no means! I don't mind it when they think its funny. I bet my bankroll still crushes theirs! I have done this for many years and I have drank and played many times.(Lost more than Won) But I do always leave myself a safety net! Recovery is a certainty!
I often play an underground cash tournament at a local bar. One of the owners stipulations for carrying the risk is a 3 drink minimum, so yeah....I often play while drinking, and if we get into a 3rd tourney, I often play buzzed. Only consolation is most of the others are less experienced at holding their liquor than me, so I have a very nice rolling profit from that game.
Just tripled my money in HU $.50 / $1.00 and got a 47% return on my Colt HU table...I will be back in no time. Sober!!!

Playing drunk is never wise , many people have learned from that. Glad I've never had to. :)
Finally won back the rest of my losses from earlier this week. Took forty-five minutes to lose and four days to make it back! Now I am getting drunk and taking in the sites of the industry:)
Well, I played drunk again and broke even. I was up and lost it all back to the guy. But I got great rake from the session. So I still see it as a win.:)
