It looks as if he had 7 BB , so A8 isn't a horrible shove. I'm not sure what you did utg + 1 but that could have an affect on it.

Yulp, Got merged!:mad: Reminds me of earlier in a 0.60 SNG. I also have KK a guy re-raises with Q6 suited. So I shove the flop he calls and hits the runner runner flush. Ridiculous! Another Player at the table commented after the hand "And I thought I have I seen everything."

I watched a donk call a huge raise w/ 62o against AJ, called another big bet on the flop....I guess to his benefit he did hit a 2....it was nuts to watch clueless in action....I think the dudes screen name was 616jap...dude was just lucky...it ran out though and he got to pay everyone. So in the end these donks just don't go far in the long run

Yep love the Arag runner runner rag kicker flush on river. Thats always fun. But some guys have rules like shove with any pocket 00pair (44), shove with Ace anything (like they'll split the pot with AK). It's like they want 5 people to call so that they get some pot odds going. Win one pot with 44 and you quadruple up. Typically at smaller stakes. These guys cant play unless they have a huge stack and they bully with it. So they go big or go home.
A rag is the monster killer. Gotten to the point where I would rather see two overs than A rag.

with 7-8 BB with A8 even offsuited i would call too.if in front was 3BB raise that means almost half of my stack so i would go all in too.just 2 players in game so in a HU match A8 it's not a bad card
