I put 20$ on poker stars and i played a few SnG here and there and I dropped down to like 2$ lol... went to play cash like insane playing the minimum at the highest stake possible lol got back to 15ish and played zoom...
I went up to 160$!!! And then I lost it ALL in a matter of an hour lol...
Lesson learnt.. hopefully
Oh my god!!! geez thats crazy to lose all that but at least you know how to be a winner. You need to work on knowing when to walk away though.
and the lesson was....?stop playing if you hit 160$?

Play within your bankroll. Ive done that on a couple of sites before and it sucks. At least you learned a lesson and got a little excitement from it lol

online cash games are very cruel. i learned the hard way.
Well guys, the lesson I learnt was that when im not myself I should stop playing hence I wrote down some guidelines I will hopefully follow this week:
1) No more than 2 buys-in per day (hence if I join a 25$ zoom game I lose twice I'm done for the day even if I still have 250$ behind)
2) Do not play if im hungry (I learnt in one of my consumer behavior class that hunger can alter your behavior)
3) Do not play if I need to go to the bathroom.... take a break and go FFS
4) Do not play if tired... rest enough is enough
5) No stupid bluffs that will throw money in for no reasons
6) No useless calls for the same reasons...
Hopefully Ill learn something and use those next time and I think I should be good to go as I proved I knew how to build a bankroll with 2$ up to 160$

in the days Starz allowed us US plrs, i went from 50$ to 4000$ in 2 days, just to take out 1200$ of it b-4 black friday
I sat at the highest possible with my 2$ becuase I either wanted to get rid of it or go fast up..... I knew what I was doing, that was WAY before I went on tilt. I didnt sit on the max stake with my 160$...... Dont tell me about common sense.Quote:

One other thopught on this... Think of your $ per hour rate at a particular table. IF it starts going haywire on you go to another table - maybeeven drop down a level - you may be getting tired or Tell-betting like your on on autopilot.
