i really wish poker sites did not have black jack attached to them
I usually win poker 90% of the time, everytime I lose money it's because i get pissed off from a bad beat and try to win it back playing blackjack, and it works usually half the time, and the other half i lose big
wow that is ........ well horrid man. Time to regroup and try again minus the blackjack
do something besides poker for a while.
black jack seems like a rigged thing that all of the sites are starting to use now…all they're doing is cleaning people out
OK, first, I really doubt that you win 90% of the time - that's unrealistic. But the important thing is that you KNOW what the issue is - or at least one of them. So when you take a bad beat, don't tilt! Go do something else for a while (NOT more gambling!!). Accept the loss as part of variance and get your mind off it with something else.
how do you guys deal with bad beats and stay composed? especially if ur still in a tournament after taking a bad beat
Never touch internet Blackjack. I wouldn't trust it on any site anywhere - tilt or no tilt.
BR management will get you through the worst bad luck streaks. I personally like to play with no more than 2% of my BR on the line at any one time. There aren't losing streaks bad enough to make you broke if you do this. I played for 2 years on PStars with one $20 deposit. I would get such bad losing streaks that I would have less than $1, but then the luck would turn around as it always does. Once my BR was $50, I never got that low again and eventually built it up to $240 before Black Friday.
For cash games I like to have a bankroll of 50 BB. For sit and gos and tournaments, I prefer to have at least 25 BBs. Cash games especially zoom and when multi tabling one must have a good bankroll.
stay away from blackjack!
i did it again. I regrouped and started playing poker. won over 300 and cashed out 250...then i got frustrated and played blackjack and lost 80 on bovada and 60 on bcp
so i gave back 140 of my 250 win in one night, it was really stupid...i have to start leaving the black jack alone when I am upset
I disagree with the comments about sites being rigged though...blackjack just has bad odds live or online
i really like the switch blackjack game on bcp though...I normally win when i play it unless I am being greedy trying to win a bunch at once
Just palyed 20$ worth of blackjask on bcp. Turned it into 45$ and dipped out!
black jack actually has very good odds when comparing it to other casino games...I think there is only 2 or 3 table games with better odds..i play BJ live a lot at my local casino and I would say I win close to 70% of the time .. you just have to remember that the longer you sit at a BJ table the odds of you losing increase...I usually sit down with around 100$ (nothing crazy) and go for a double up...no reason to sit there and try to break the casino off cause its not going to happen..sure its rare for me to have one of those $500 or $1000 winning nights (sometimes I walk away +$200/+300 ) but you'll never see me lose big either... just be happy with a modest win and you'll win a lot more then you lose...nothing wrong with leaving the table with more then you came with..no need for greed is what I always say...and with these online BJ I will sit with around $10 and try to double it..its to much out of my hands for me to bet any higher and as of now I still don't have much trust for online BJ
mama didnt raise no fool's. she told me to stay away from the blackjack table online.
"last night i took a bad beat in a little 3 dollar sng and i tried to win it back playing blackjack, 20 minutes later i out 100 bucks "
Haha :( ouch man LOL. Scale wise, that's an epic rage tilt, losing 3 bucks, aggroing, and losing 33x more!
never touch blackjack where you cant count the cards - you are kidding yourself if you think you can win otherwise
also, 90% may not be far fetched if its 90% non-losing sessions - i have had runs where i did not lose at poker after session was over for like 10 or so days in a row - seems like forever - and depends on what your session includes
but back to blackjack - again dont do it if you do not count cards - bad bad bad
woow never tillted that way :D always losing in poker but never searched revange in black jack :D
for you guys on this post that said you should never play blackjack online I turned 20$ into 105 in thirty minutes tonight
Oh i forgot to say it was switch blackjack on black chip poker...that game is a good money maker if you play right. Try to make one good hand and then either stay or risk busting on the second and u will usually break even or win double your money...just don't get frustrated if the cpu hits blackjack 1-2 times in a row and start throwing out big bets to win your money back...thats the only way I get into trouble
there is no such thing as a "right" way to play blackjack, keep guessing, and thank you for your patronage
Playing a blackjack is slightly less risk than spin a roulette ... so if you have too much money, why not spin in it ?
