Horibble suckout...unreal :(

Guys yesterday i had the most horibble suckout ever.....let me tell u the hand: i played The hotter 0,55$ on stars, Blinds 1k/2k, i am UTG 32k with AKs(spades),i raise 6k,everybody fold,only BUTTON 39k calls,Flop 10d 2s Jh, i bet 6k,he calls, Turn 9s...i havn't hit the board but i have a huge draw so i shove 20k left,he calls...I show AsKs,he shows Ac 7d........i am in front i can beat that :D but until the river that was 7 and he wins :( loooooool. who is enought idiot to make that call with that hand??? and by the way he was russian......=)))

well honestly he was the idiot...but why would u continue to bluff each st....i know b.c u check hebets u have to fold...u shoulda maybe put in a nice bet ont he flop instead of the standard c-bet!! people are heros these days.

It sucks but that is poker sometimes. These are the donks that make poker profitable. Sometimes you lose but overall, they will still be losing players.

You played ur hand so fkn well you got him committed with complete garbage. Shrug it off and move on. My only thought here is you risked ur tourney life on a draw. The way of carbon/pokerstars etc. is to make a hand then risk ur life. Way too many <20% suckouts on river to risk urlife with Ace high. That being said u played the hand great - you win and ur going deep (prolly what he was thinking - he wins and hes sitting on what $71k? if he loses he still has a few left - maybe why he was all-in pre flop in his mind he had you "covered" -just ludicris)...

I agree with someone who said you need to make a sizable bet on the flop - if you know your commited to go all in any way - why not shove all ur chips on the flop in a semi-bluff (u havent hit but have great cards and a nice draw). If he has some low PP or even AK he has too fold or donk; way easier for him to fold here - you dont look like you got A5 or 22 then.

ty for ur advices guys.....i think i play the hand 90% correct but i've been unlucky :( sometime i belived that pokerstars rewards donkeys =)))) but in long run they suck :)

Agree with LaserCats. Just remember, play ur best. Suckouts happen both ways. Take the good with the bad. Always tommorrow.

yesterday a play at one turnament...i have 44...onflop come 435...next another 5...i call all-in and pay me...on river come another 5...i have full house and he have quads..very sucks.

That sucks, I guess he was hoping to hit his straight. The only way you could've won, and this is probably, is if you pushed preflop or on the flop. Some people just don't know how to fold.
