I have been playing hold'em since 2004 and until now the biggest tourney I ever played was a 45 man sng(excluding po free rolls of course) Yesterday I bought a ticket on bovada to play a 6 man sng, which if I won I would be entered into a 5k gtd tourney. There were 297 players and I finished 12th, didn't make the final table but took home a modest 85$ with a free ticket, and gained some experience in tourneys with large fields.
So was the ticket worth 85 or did you win 85 and a ticket?. Either way grats on your day

i am the opposite of u. i started poker with playing large tournys. i started with PS pso league. but now i am getting into ring games after not having the internet for 3 months... well gj and gl with your future in poker.
Congrats on your big win. I started playing in large field MTT's first and then changed over to SNGs. I play a combo of both now and enjoy all of them as long as I am winning lmao.
