VIP Upgrade is NEXT

The VIP upgrade is next. Would like thoughts on how to prevent fraud \ chargebacks because a lot of these offers are easy.

My quick thoughts


- Must apply to be a VIP member
- When they apply, we can send them to be verified
- They cannot apply until they have been a member XX days
- If they get 1 chargeback they are removed
- To get approved, they must be a member for a long time etc..
- They will have to click "I agree" to the terms of the VIP (No Fraud, Proxies, no virtual credit cards (If they do no guarantee of points) and so on)

What else can you think of?

will the ability to see what offers will be available for vip members before we apply?

so new members are screwed, suonds like the sales pitch from the newspaper guy on boiler room

its actually the opposite of the scene from boiler room, in that scene it was new people getting the lower price, and the old members got screwed.

lets be honest the new members are getting screwed but why is that bad? it isn't a new idea, new members on a lot of sites can't use private messaging, or post in classified sections, etc. members have to prove themselves trustworthy before getting access to the sites premium features. seems reasonable to me. And that is coming from a person that has been here only 3 months and will probably not have access to this feature yet.

I agree with everything except the "one chargeback and it's gone". I can understand if the person has multiple reversals, but there have been times that good upstanding members have had offers reverse through no fault of their own, (some glitch somewhere, bad tracking through the advertisers, etc). We've had a mass reversal of a particular offer in the past, (the invention.com one for example). Yes there were a lot of bs completions, but the legit completions were also penalized for this when they did nothing wrong.

I really don't understand the benefit of becoming VIP member. You can't use offerwalls if you're not a VIP?

Great idea. I don't mind going through the screening period - I know how cruel the net can be.

The VIP upgrade requirements you have listed is pretty comprehensive. I can't think of anything else. Can't wait to apply!

Well, I think this site has many benefits to the newcomer, (of which I am One) , so I pretty much have faith that Zab and the mods will "Do right by the memers", I'm glad to see that ya'll don't enforce the don't be rude, etc rules too rigidly, tho I have been witmess to some exchanges I was suprised didn' result in bans, etc... mostly tho seems to ragging and flaming in god fun... also like the ability to check others "reputation" and rail better playerz, cuz I do join these sites to LEARN as well as get points and FR's

I haven't been on a lot in the last month due to moving into my new house. Has this taken effect yet?
