Tournaments for April

It's no secret since we lost all the US facing rooms the #s have dwindled down.

Without being able to add them, we added a bunch of daily PS and Client tourneys..

Having said that, the numbers continue to fall to the point where I'll have to make some changes for May.

00:00 Tournament 3000 Chips Avg 12.5 Players Overlay: 1563 Chips
13:00 Tournament 2000 Chips Avg 14.3 Players Overlay: 402 Chips
16:00 Tournament 2100 Chips Avg 13.5 Players Overlay: 615 Chips
19:00 Tournament 5000 Chips Avg 21.2 Players Overlay: 2350 Chips
22:00 Tournament 7000 Chips Avg 21.7 Players Overlay: 4070 Chips

So from looking at this.. The 19:00 and 22:00 the overlays are huge every night.. What I'll do to start is lower the prize pools a touch, adjust the buy ins so nothing is added to the prize pools.

I'll likely get rid of the 00:00 tournament in May.

Sounds good. There has been nice influx of players on wpn network. Adding PO tourneys could help with numbers for PO. Not sure if thats a possibility just throwing ideas out there.

ONOOOO is the 00 time tourmey u eman the 9pm game for us west c oast poeple??? thats the one u getting of totallly??? thats best one to play from here awww.... i never can make the 10 am or 1pm,,,, tho;( thats goone kinda be sad;(............. o welll................i guesss u gotta do whjat u gotta do, tho............maybe start redeeming points more,,,, idk;(............... any hope at all, we could get BCP/ acr back?? where most of us play now????..

ZAB, is there ANY way wd cd keeep the late game at 9pm west coast ti me??? any way?? a bunch of us re gulars like to play that one every nite,,,, if we cant make it earlier some days.... maybe lower amount there also?? and jsut keeep it too??? OK TY if posssible

start telling your friends about PO and tell them to join the late game and zab will keep it :)

Hi Guys

Newbee here, I agree with rrickir, that late slot gives us a chance to catch up with points. We usually miss the first one and always catch the late one. As a suggestion if you want to change the tournament lineup, maybe add more tournaments for less points?

Anyway the tournaments really help us who are new to the game, its nice to play against the same experienced crowd who are very helpful.

Why can't you make the tournaments gtd's instead of adding pts. I know Swc had gtd tournaments using same software so must be possible. Make buyin for all tourneys 180 + 20. Guarantee 2000 for first 3 and 4500 for other 2. At the numbers you listed, the 3 2000 ones would reach the gtd and last 2 would be close. But having it a gtd then if numbers go up the prize pool would go up. Never understood have an added prize pool but buyin is almost all fees (it is all fees apparently now). Making it gtd helps you more cause all buyin pts go towards gtd till its reached, then more goes to prize pool after, more incentive as numbers go up. I just don't see removing a tournament and making buyin all fees and nothing going towards prize pool as being helpful in any way. Just my opinion (but I'm always right)

that doesn't address anything i said, i know you have overlays now. Changing it to way I suggested you wouldn't have much overlay and IF the numbers would increase, then the prize pool would increase instead of the pts you receive in fees.

What about an incentive system? Have a weekly bigger tournament that requires you to play X number of tournaments a week? You could lower the prizes during the week (hence the OP) but still give people a reason to load up the numbers.

u snooze u loose, we have all missed a tourney running few minutes late. dont waste ur time doing that or er watching spiderdevil marvel on netflix. how about one horse game just a few times a week not every day. PUHLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! if you do free lap dance from dame! gogogogogogo! KTHXBAI!

Please keep the late 00:00 game I'll try and recruit more people If you do. It' a good tourney.

well no one will join if you eliminate it. At the very least if you decide you don't want to fund the 00:00 est game make it 150+0 buyin with nothing added, no gtd, no risk to you, just all the points from buyin go to prize pool, nothing else. I am sure the 12 - 15 people will cont. to play and prize pool won't be an issue. I think what you are not realizing zab is the few people that remain and continue to play here do so because they like to play together, even just for bragging rights and also because of the promos, speedway, grinder, etc., and of course the opportunity to win the b3b prize. Hope you will at least give this a chance if you decide not to keep it as is.

+ 100!!!! madjek,,,, i totally agree with that!!... i hope u can consider that zab,, then it wdnt even cost u anything,, and we cd stilll have the late game that we LIKE TO play together in the evening, ..... its like our social hour and we wd misss it!:( so maybe yes,, u cd jsut let our buy in go to prizepoool,,, and wdnt cost u more point s then for now..... till things improve or more people come back again< PLEASE CONsider thisss TXX:)

sure ZAB WHAT EVER U NEED TO DO:)) madjek evn posted,, that u add lesss and we jsut use mostly all of our buyin towrds prizepoool tooo,,,, we been geting some new late poeple in latew game llately,,,, from NON USA:) and we jsut like to play that game,, so we willing to do whatever it takes jsut to k eep it r ight now SO TY zabbbb!:)

Here's what I did

Lowered the 7 & 10pm a little bit

Changed the Midnight one from 2000 to 500 BUT increased the prize pool 50\50

So everyone that joins will increase the prize pool by 50 chips.


Good compromise for those that still wanted to play the 00:00 tourney


The 00:00 tourney WILL count for Grinder and WILL NOT count for B3B

Oh and it effected the tourneys for tonight, sorry!

ok zab i will try the late game tnite,,,, tx for trying to keeep it at least,,,,,,, i toght it said 100 buy in tho and 500 added,,, and buy was 130 before??..... idk yet lol,,,, ILL Jsut play tnite and seee if prizes cover buyin lol, and not be in the n egative from buy in tho;)
