That is exactly what I mean where both parties involved doing the task gets credit towards some promotion. I would be willing to guess 90-95% have money on their Carbon account and if they complain about one penny, maybe this upgrade would not affect them anyway. I think a lot of members would be willing to put up more than the penny you had on the test run with the KO mtt.

There will always be complainers but if it brings in more revenue and members, I am all for it. I think these could get popular enough to where they gradually could increase to $1.10 buy ins for the bounty and portion of it go to a prize pool. I think this has a lot of potential and if enough thought is put into it, this could be just as successful as other upgrades and promotions.

Thanks for keeping this forum fresh and exciting for members. This is the only forum that you can expect new upgrades more often than other poker affiliates, as they are losing their member base left and right due to the lack of fresh ideas and upgrades.

I think that is perfect. Resetting every month and the gauge you set was similar to what I was trying to describe. Now that you put it into numbers, formulas, and actual percentages, it gives people a better perspective of what is reachable here. I think this upgrade will pass with flying colors. There have been people that have needed something like this for quite some time now.

I like the new look to the ticker - Will the "go to offer" button actually take you to that specific offer? The "I want 35 points" link now only takes you to the whole set of offers by that offerwall and you have to hunt for the specific one you want.

I also like the follow-the-leader idea. I'm never the first one in (I'm too gunshy for that), but I think it's good to help out the brave pioneers.

maybe you addressed this and i just missed it but on the ticker where it shows which task was done and how many points it was worth, will that be clickable? like can i just click the offer in the ticker and it will take me right to it? If so i think that will drastically increase the number of offers being done, I look at the ticker all the time and think i should do that offer but i dont want to be stuck looking through page after page of offers to find the right one. I mean think about how many people would do more offers if they knew they converted and all they had to do was make one click to get to the offer.

If this is not going to be done would you mind telling us why? its seems like a no brainier win win, more points for us and more revenue for the site. Actually I think it would be A LOT more revenue, if i could just click right on an offer that i saw converted recently I would probably do 300% more offers, maybe more I mean every time i was on i would do everything on the ticker. The only thing that stops me from doing offers is the fear that they wont convert, but if i saw they just converted and didnt have to look through page after page, I would do every single one and I don't think i would be the only one.

Here's my latest thought.

For the Active Leaders- Instead of the timer starting at 30 minutes and winding down to 00:00.. Instead I want to make it so it RESETS to 30 minutes every time someone does your offer.

Why? Gives you a chance to earn revenue if you are working for it.. Why not?

i think that addressing this issue would really increase revenue for the site(you), might be worth it to stick a programmer on it to figure out a way to get it done.

:D OK may get a NO-NO, but! Some surveys expect you to spend $$$ at the end before releasing the points. How about letting us know upfront. Don't mind taking the time to do the survey. I do spend time losing at poker, but I know up front I may lose.

Don't take me too serious, just might reduce the wasted time.

Losing lately.

Here are my latest spec's on the entire task ticker upgrade. I want to start this next week. The area that I am still having problems with, is how to get the news out there's something that a lot of people are converting.

Swag Bucks sends you a PM every time
We use "Hot Surveys" but we manually enter them (I was thinking about having this done automatically)
What about some other ideas?


Anyways, here's the specs so far:

Task Ticker Upgrade:
• Redesign with the new changes (Can we make it slightly smaller and get more offers in there or make tournament lobby bigger to match)
• + to add my offers to task ticker (Right now you have to be survey VIP to get your offers added to the task ticker) We need this for new users and people that want to get credit for follow the leader. This is old code that needs updated
• Add the 4 new items to the main pokerowned.com page
• Add popup like instagc.com with all the information for the last 48 hours
• Add the follow the leader upgrade
1. Pop up (Drop down window shade? What will get the users attention) occurs for any offer over 25 points (Not Crowd Flower, Not something that’s already live in follow the leader). This will take the place of the “What’s working” bonus (When you enter in stuff here it auto goes into the What’s working). Clicking this takes you to the follow the leader instructional page
2. Users can add information about the offer and how to convert them (Mods can erase them and ban them from adding information just like Ad Ticker) – 2 fields. One for info\how to convert it and 1 for how long it took them to convert (Pull info if they are from the USA etc?)
3. Users will be able to add a name to the offer for the sites that don’t tell us what the offer is (All except Matomy, Peanut Labs, PO Tasks). Any offers that are converted for the exact same points at the exact same site will be assumed to be the same offer for 48 hours from the time the first offer was done.
4. If a user adds information to an offer, it shows up in the task ticker that information HAS been added
• The FIRST person to do the offer will be the “Leader”. There are 2 types of leaders. #1 is a passive leader, #2 is an active leader and they breakdown as follows:
• Passive Leader: This user will get a 1% bonus on any of the same offer. (This user isn’t doing anything to help others basically)
• Active Leader: This user will get a 5% bonus whenever someone completes the same offer within 30 minutes. The timer resets to 30 minutes every time someone completes the task. This user will have the following abilities (An active leader is defined as someone who adds the name of the offer followed a description of how to better complete the offer). Only the current leader can see the timer and mods \ admin. Otherwise users might wait for it to expire then do the offer becoming the leader.
1. He will be able to bump the offer in the task ticker *TASK BUMPED* once every 3 minutes thus putting the offer back in the task ticker
2. Mods will be able to delete \ remove leaders and block them just like Ad Ticker if they deem it unhelpful, spammy or abusive.
3. Ad ticker type option below the current one? TBD
• At the conclusion of the Leader time a new person can become the leader on the same offer. They will have to input their own helpful description (All descriptions are shown). They will be asked if this was the same name or if it is something new.
• Hot Offers: We need to redo this. If an offer is converted 3 times in 24 hours, do what swagbucks does? Send a PM to all? Or do we want to show these as “hot” surveys.


Part 2 ‘Monthly Bonus Gauge’ --> Phase 2, won't be done right away
• Gauge right in the task
• Gauge fills up as the users earn their points
• For every 500 points you get from follow the leader, 1000 points will be released into your account
• All gauges are reset at the start of the month
