I've heard it a few times.. People want bigger promotions.
The 4% deduction pays for the following promotions: Back2Back, WSOPokerowned, Pin the tail on the donkey, Donkey Derby, Grinder Challenge, 5 Points per Post, Golden Donkey, Whats working, KO the Champ, Leaderboard, Speedway, Player Ratings, Bubble Boy, Fantasy Poker extra 50 pts.
So that's the question, would you like to see bigger everything? Would you like to see more than 4% deducted?
The promos make this site even better. I dont see why everyone cant pony up 10-15% to increase the promos substantially.
If there is bigger promotions would that lead to lower PO Freeroll prize $ ? If it does then I want no part of it
we want more points per survey completed
+1 on that I would rather see BCP prize pool bigger before any promotion
I think if we bump it up a little and see how it goes. I personally don't take part in a lot of the promos but if it makes things better then 5% is good for me.
I cant speak for Zab but i think participation drives the dollar amount of the tourneys.
I would agree to double the prizes ...

I think the promotions are fine the way they are. Perhaps something new.
I think that the promotion % should be raised a lot. I like 8-15%.
I also think that there should be a lower % for really new members (maybe less than a month or two old). Maybe keep it at 4%-5% for them?
I would like to see a percentage point or two increase if the promotions will be staying the same so those elements become more exciting (not that they aren't already but bigger and faster is usually better lol) If there were to be new promotions or programs, I'd have no problem seeing as high as a 10%-12% promotions rake.
i do not participate in enough freerolls to justify myself wanting an increase in fees. so id like to see the promos stay the same. also i feel that really most of you have no chance at b2b or grinder so why would you wanna see an increase? theres 5-10 ppl here who have a shot at all that. theyll be the ones pushing for an increase
A majority of the promos are passive (speedway, weekly ratings, grinder, B2B, WSOPO, etc), so you take part in some just by being a member and playing the games :)Quote:

I honestly think the percent that is taken in promotions should go down the more surveys and things that you do or the longer you're a member the less percent you pay in promotions. Gives an intensive to do more surveys and be a member longer. Maybe?Quote:

I'm pretty new on here but I love the promos. Just been crazy busy with my business lately so still havent had time to give you guys a good run for your money but I'll have more time in a week or two. so initially i was like wtf why is 4% being taken away. but seeing as how I like most of the promos Ill vote for 8%.
Here's an idea. the raffle costs 10 points. I know that only 6 points go to the pot so why not just take another point and add it to other stuff. 1 more point from each ticket won't really make a big dent in the prize pool. (also would be cool if you could buy tix for more than 4 straight plays)
