PokerOwned March Madness upgrade idea

Sounds like a fun idea, too bad I'm guessing it will only be for Carbon.

This is more an addendum to Prawney's idea, but when we get this rolling, I think it would be cool for the field to have odds - You could weigh the formula using the ITM% and player rater and allow people to bet on the tournament winner. Also, the odds could adjust throughout so that if you wanted to bet on a winner in the 3rd round you could (you'd get worse odds than if you bet them at the beginning).

I'm writing this in the dark so it probably doesn't make any sense.

No he has no clue. Read what I suggested above; I think filling out brackets might be tough to pull off, but betting the winner before the tournament starts and having adjusted odds based on ITM% or player rating would be cool.

Not a bad idea.. but we'd need to fill them out.. then have a 24 hour period when we'd be able to bet on them or "Fill out your bracket" that would be fun.. A side game just like March Madness..

Maybe 5-10% of the prize pool goes towards that + like 10 points per bracket you fill out? How fun would that be

I was thinking more you fill out your bracket like the way march madness current works

I like this idea. Pretty awesome, but how would you be able to sign up?

I think this would be a really fun promotion and using the player rating system would be best. I am not totally clear on how this will play out, would someone like me who only plays one game a day on weekdays be enough to get through the bracket?

I'm not a big fan of the llb idea. Folding until 20th requires way less skill than actually playing to win and going out in 30th cause of it. That's my issue with the player ratings too tho.
