Original Content News \ Blog Postings for Points

Would anyone be interested in this?

Basically the way I have this clicking in my head (LCD gave me the idea) is that people post news \ original content. Depending on the length and quality of the news article (Or perhaps how many times it's been read or SOMETHING) we award points.

Again, must be original and not copied and pasted.

My thoughts


- Listed on the front page (below the progressive prize pool boxes) will be 2 sections (sort by newest and highest rated) User news and Blogs (Or maybe we just do blogs?)
- When you submit something it goes into a holding pattern (A que) where Myself, Mods and possibly a few selected other users can read it and verify it's original content AND it's worthy of being posted on the front page
- If it gets approved, it gets posted (You get some points)
- You get XX points for the amount of times it gets view (Some fraud stuff in here to make sure you aren't just clicking your own)
- You get points depending on how long it is
- You get points depending on how well the community rates the quality
