Not sure how you guys will take this but give me some feedback.
Trying to help curb fraud control, I am thinking about an upgrade where new users cannot use:
- Marketplace
- Loan Shark
- Poker Client
This way they cannot launder their points like they are now.
Thoughts? Issues?
You would need to apply and being accepted to use it
i like loan shark because i can collect there little points when they don't pay......
Sounds great to me, we always have this issuer but people that using multi accounts.
They can still use it, but it REALLY would help prevent multi-accountsQuote:

Its going to put a damper on real new users who want to complete fast and get in action fast. But, there is a real need for it.
I belong to several other sites and many instaban on multiple account from same IP....why not just put in force and IP check in sign up process and default to "you already have an account"
agree zab, new users need to earn some time on the website before they can use loan shark or set them at a limit, like 100 pts first week and increase it after a week or month of being active..just a thought
What about they need minimum of 10 posts and be member for 30 days?
I know what you mean DayTradin it said like this you already got an account on this IP Adressed, kind of like that but it will also forced people that are sitting in work or school.
Do you not forget people may create account in Internet Café? And if you used that option people won't be able to register
Its simple. New users never get access until they apply for it.
The problem with multi-accounts is that they are proxies. So there is never the same IP twice. So that theory doesn't work.
If a user is a legit user, he can apply and I will accept him. There's no 10 days then you can. If you are legit, its pretty easy to tell :)
I'm all for it. Let newer members put some time in on the site before they have access to everything.
You should make an upgrade where you can debt collect the users other accounts, so that if they just make random accounts to steal loans, they will still have to pay back the money on their main account.
Your progressive prize pools wont go up as fast or much, but I can know that I wont get those chargebacks like I did at Radium

Great idea. Just got scammed recently so anything to fight this is a good thing in my book.
those are great ideas but not all new peeps are scammers
been here a month or there abouts i got lots of points from doin the right think the honest way
but will admit that theres a lot of scammers here its too bad

Maybe limit the amount that they can ask for a probation period, but I don't think they should be excluded entirely.
If i limit it to even 100 points, they will abuse it
I am all for making new users earn their keeps here, before using the Loan Shark, Marketplace, etc. Too many of them are defaulting on the Loan Shark and our hard earned points that we are loaning are disappearing.
I would be willing to do something
