    watching the blinds!!

I see it often. Someone has big hand say qq, you raise pre flop nice chunk someone calls
then someone else now its on the big blind he priced in often. The flop 2-2-10. You think you golden. You check the guy next to you called with a10 so he bets thinking he good the blind calls you re-raise a10 calls the blind pushes all in. See allot of p.o players insta calls thinking over pair good not thinking what hand would a blind push all in with. stop and think then act. If ya folded the qq ill see at the final. "food for thought" GL

It depends. I understand what you are talking about and certain players can take advantage of me with calls like this, especially when they have a history of calling raises with 4-2 offsuit.

The problem that you have just mentioned is aggression. Many P.O. players are very aggressive, treating their A rag as if it was an AA or KK. Being very aggressive can pay off, even with a loss of chips. What most people seem to forget is that you need chips in the tournament, and one big win is great, but getting several decent sized pots can be just as rewarding with less risk.

In tht scenario I would have hard time calling. I wouldn't think I was golden.

At the lower buyins tho u must have some knowledge of your opponents range or if they are just a donk but... You see this ALOT at lower buyins. people just dont know how(or wont) fold big pkt pairs. Winning players not only fold marginal hands but know when to fold big pocket pairs when needed. Good food for thought mit!!

Some players like to trap other players. I see that often.

This is one of the top three things I have a hard time getting away from. The other two will remain nameless, altho I've seemed to have got those some what under control. Thanks for the thread. Take care

It's only a trap if you fall for it. Don't bluff!
