To all of the new people signing up to this site! READ ME

Yes, this is my first post. I have been on the site for just a few days, however, please take my advice listed below and it might save you some head aches with your computer.

Beware of ALL offers to download games, programs, and any other junk. I learned first hand the hard way that most of these will nasty up your computer pretty quick. I know the points look tempting (a lot of the offers state over 100 points all you have to do is download some program or game) but please DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!!! I have been trying a bunch of these and I have yet to receive any points from them. I will download something and wait but no points. What I do get is annoying pop ups, my default home page changes to weird things, and I think a pron site just popped up..yeah..weird Asian ones. So I delete these things I downloaded after realizing I am getting none of those points and hopefully someone will take time to read this.

I will recommend to watch any of the videos and post on the forum daily. This is really the only safe method to earning points. Slow and steady. Please for the love of all holy things...JUST DON'T LEARN THE HARD WAY LIKE ME!

while I do agree with some of what your saying Cool its not every download that does it...the thing is you just have to pay close attention to what also comes with lets say a game you download...there usually is an option that they sneak into the middle of the set up that ppl will just click the next button and not think twice and then bam!..you have a new tool bar or home page....ive down loaded a few games for points and usually get the points and have no issues other then a game that ill never play on my computer...but that's an easy control panel fix!...so yes be careful but no you don't have to stay 100% away from them

yep very true BM im batting about 50 percent so my Malwarebytes has been pretty busy.

I believe it might have been a Green Games and Ham or one of the video players but the Asians on the site that keeps popping up aren't that pretty so be warned!

What games did you download that worked for you? I have been trying a bunch and got nothing but head aches. I would strongly recommend all new people to poker owned just avoid downloading anything at first and build up points by reading and being active on the forum / watching videos. It might be slow but you aren't going to be getting all the head aches like me..

You should not do any downloads unless if you know what you are doing, there are safe measures you can take ahead of time.
Crowdflower is safe and converts 100% of the time. Also for normal tasks, check the whats working section, as those you know someone has converted, you have a better chance.

Sandboxie is what many of the sites are starting to get behind for download offers. I am trying to get approval for all of them before I give a formal guide.

You can get a lot of help out of all admin, mods, & mentors around here, so if you have questions or concerns, ask and you will get a good accurate answer.

All you did was repeat what's already in several of the beginner threads that are stickied at the top of this forum.
