    Badugi Strategy

Do you have any strategy at Badugi?
I pay when I have 3 cards better than 9
I know how to play but I have no strategy...
    Tell me yours!

3 cards to a 9 low is pretty bad ... tighten it up to 3 cards to a 7.

2 cards to a 5 if cheap to play is fine too.

badugi is a tough game to master. for a starting hand 2 cards a-7 is good advice but after that its luck of the draw

I dont like badugi much, but I would say that not a lot of people actually bluff in this game. When they have it they bet, when they don't have it they don't bet. Mainly this is a limit game so bluffing isn't always the best option. But id say play according to how others at the table are playing. You don't want to fish a lot, but you also dont want to let others run over you. Get really aggressive with your made hands, and hands that you know you're ahead. A lot of these draw games are a bit tilting, so good luck to those that like to play it.

Generaly there is less bluffing in limit badugi, but there is more bluffing in pot limit badugi

Bluffing in draw games is called "snowing" or a "snow job" ... its when you "pat" a hand that missed representing a made hand.
