You do not understand correctly the Russians do not just poor people but they just have nothing to do at home so they play poker for many Russian citizens will not work here they are playing poker and make a living.

there so many players from southern Europe generally because there are all poor countries like you said...one of the reason is a difficulty to deposit in first place...i'm from Serbia and to deposit at some online poker room, moneybookers or something like that is almost impossible from here...so there you go...

Russians are very nice gamblers. I had a bad beet with russian poker player. I had two cards on the flop the same is in my hand for example 2 and 9 . The third card was 6 . I entered ALL IN and the russian so all in , but he has 333 set on the river and I lost my chips.

That's a good question, I haven't asked that to myself, but anyway I think the number of russian players and USA players was really close, at least before the problem with the rooms.

Kinda like saying Eastgate won more money than an American would have had an American won instead of Eastgate the year he took down the Main Event.
they gain nothing on the dollar. if they pay to enter the money exchange has already happened, if they go in a freeroll the exchange is on their winnigs they double the money

I've noticed this too. There are a few Russian pros making a name for themselves. So that might be causing a 'Moneymaker effect' for them just as it did in the states.
