    The IRS?!??!?! HA HA HA Bitcoin can't be shut down.... The only way would be to buy up all the Bitcoins.... The Fed has killed the value of the dollar. Would love to see some real currency competition.

    It's just the nature of the currency.....Not much the IRS can do, there's nobody they can subpoena for records, no central server they can attack, no jurisdiction over it, and not even a viable means of tracking everyone's Bitcoin usage.

    Bitcoins are already subject to capital gains tax technically.....Very difficult for them to enforce unless you pay that voluntarily though
