    sorry blinds were 75/150 at the time I believe...normal raises were 3x bb so 450 here. I had average stack and the original raiser had me covered, but only by a few hundred chips. This player was new to the table so I didn't have any reads. If I remember correctly he had only been at the table 2 or 3 hands and this was his first time playing.

    I ended up shoving and running into AA. At the time I felt as if I would have been very close to committed if I 3-bet and sort of just wanted to take it down preflop and wanted to use as much fold equity as possible. Not sure if I like it looking back.

    @Garlicbutter....your post was the 1st on the 2nd page and didn't even see it until after I posted. I think I pretty much agree with your saying after rethinking flatting. The fact that any reasonable raise makes me pot committed, I felt that shoving or flat calling were my 2 best options. Maybe I should have just folded?

    what is his stack?? how many players left in the hand?? is he agressive player? is he calling allins? is he raising a lot?

    If you don't shove and over cards come it is easy to fold too.

    I would never fold to an all in or big bet on flop with all under cards.
