How to play your strong draws?

    your stack:4300 villain stack:7500
    blinds are 50-100
you dont have any real read or sense of the type of player villain is.

villain opens pot to 220 preflop and you call with 67 clubs
flop comes down 1085 with 2 clubs and villain bets 260, you check raise to 760 and villain calls.
turn card comes a brick 3. there is now around 2000 in the pot.
YOU HAVE ABOUT 3500 LEFT AND ARE FIRST TO ACT WHAT DO YOU DO?
    1)CHECK
    2)BET, HOW MUCH?
    3)SHOVE

In this situation I have no idea if it's correct but on the turn I would probably check and hope for a free river but I would be prepared to call an all in. Something tells me that's incorrect though lol.

As a rule I don't call draws unless I'm prepared to call or go all in. I'm not a calling station.

Lets be honest your probably never folding in this spot so I could bet around 1350 as a defender bet because if you check he is likely to bet more so this way you are possibly saving money but that's just my opinion

Even if they have 88/1010 its still 42/57 so you have really good odds especially if they have any lesser holdings.

^What I meant is even if they have a set we still have 42% chance of taking the pot down at showdown time. Sorrry I'm still groggy hehe.

Stumbled across this in my Poker file (I'm not the author), pretty basic for staight and flush draws or outs in general.

    Chasing a Flush

For the first card, you know 5 of the 52 cards in the deck are. So
there are 47 unknown cards... and for your flush you know that 4 of
the 13 possible clubs are already in your sight. So ther are 9 cards
    remaining. 9/47 = 19.1%

If you haven't gotten your flush yet, then you know 6 of the 52
cards... and you know that 4 of them are clubs. The odds this time
    are 9/46 = 19.6%.

We can't just add 19.1% + 19.6% because that would double count any
    instance when both cards would be clubs. So it is 19.1% + 19.6% - (19.1%*19.6%) = 35%.

i would agree with steph, i mean you have a monster draw but it's really dependent on how you want to take this hand on...do u want to play it strong..well if u do, u better be prepared to go broke if you miss or you could choose the more conservative route, wait and see if he let's you hit your hand..if you miss the river..just fold..you have about 1/5..1/6 your stack in...so what..you can get away from this hand imo..but if you do choose to be aggressive, be willing to go broke, meaning if this guy leads for 1500 or i would either flat call that and shove any river..or go ahead and shove over his 1500 raise to put pressure on him, you want to be putting pressure on someone when your raising..otherwise your just building a pot..well if you have any inclination that you might get away from the hand if you miss, i would keep the pot as small as possible until you hit or if you want to be aggressive just make sure you putting pressure and still have fold equity when your attempting to full this off, hope that helped
