    playing AK HIGH

    game:1-2 no limit
    my stack: $350 Villain: $120
-no special read on how villain plays. certainly not tight, but havent seen him showdown any real bluffs or anything.

i have AK and i raise to $10 from middle pos and small blind 3 bets to $22 and i call in position.
flop comes down 632 and small blind checks, i bet $23 and small blind calls.
turn card comes a 6 and it goes check/check.
river comes a 7 and small blind leads into me for $30.

WHAT DO I DO WITH AK HIGH?
WHAT COULD THE SMALL BLIND HAVE ACCORDING TO HOW HE'S PLAYED THE HAND THUS FAR?
GIMME YOUR THOUGHTS ON THESE TWO QUESTIONS!

it is best to check to see if he is beneath you with AJ or AQ or worse middle pair but you will avoid 99 88 lose more chips.

appreciate the responses but you are all wrong. i ended up calling his $30 bet on the river surmising that with a 3 bet preflop, if he had any poket pair he would have liked the 632 flop and would have continuation bet. but since he checked to me on the flop and just called my bet he likely didnt hit the flop, and i assume that he wouldnt 3 bet with 66, 33, or 22 based on what i had seen at that table. i really didnt think he had a pair and called him with AK high, and he sheepishly showed down KQ.

I've been having a terrible time with AK lately. Used to be I would automaticly call an all-in with AK, now I am having second thoughts.
