Nice job on the RTR freeroll. I noticed it helped me to leave the settings on freeroll tournies only so you arent tempted by seeing some of the real money games. You can filter it so it only shows games up to max buyin of $0.

i'm in. i'm at $14.60 Carbon. I'll keep juicy separate, as i do not play it as much - i want to see if i can do some damage at the micro tables anyway... sort of a split experiment.

Wow, good luck. Best shot to make money is the PO freerolls. But also try the Sunday World Series Tavern Poker tournament. The password's online.

Thanks Sharking, that is a great idea. Thanks everybody who is joining me in this challenge. I'm excited to see how all you guys do and see who can get there first!

I got ITM last night again in the RTR Thanksgiving Freeroll. This time I got 25th/769. Again, I set myself up to increase my stack and get into the final table and I got bad beated. I think I was playing well, despite lady luck not being there. Deck was slightly cold. I'm disappointed, because I really wanted to be able to make a better run at 1st this time, but one bad beat so late in the tournament can ruin any chance at that. The table was playing very tight at this stage, I was debating between playing fold/shove preflop, but I decided to try one more time to take down an easy steal or flop pot if called. so let me know what you think of my play:

    Merge - $0+$0.00|<> NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: PokerTracker

    UTG+1: 14,268.00
    Hero (MP): 38,637.00
    MP+1: 33,290.00
    CO: 6,195.00
    BTN: 18,472.00
    SB: 79,345.00
    BB: 22,187.00
    UTG: 24,673.00

UTG+1 posts ante 100.00, Hero posts ante 100.00, MP+1 posts ante 100.00, CO posts ante 100.00, BTN posts ante 100.00, SB posts ante 100.00, BB posts ante 100.00, UTG posts ante 100.00, SB posts SB 2,000.00, BB posts BB 4,000.00

Pre Flop: (pot: 6800.00) Hero has Ts Ah

fold, fold, Hero raises to 8,000.00, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 4,000.00

    Flop: (18800.00, 2 players) As 6c 9h
BB bets 14,087.00 and is all-in, Hero calls 14,087.00

    Turn: (46974.00, 2 players) 9c

    River: (46974.00, 2 players) Ks

Hero shows Ts Ah (Two Pair, Aces and Nines) (Pre 59%, Flop 80%, Turn 5%)
BB shows 8d 9d (Three of a Kind, Nines) (Pre 41%, Flop 20%, Turn 95%)
    BB wins 46,974.00

And then a few hands after this one, I had AJs in the SB, a guy in CO raises all-in, I call. He has AQ and knocks me out with a Q on the flop.

What do you guys think of my play? Should I have folded to the all-in raise? It looked weak to me, I put him on a weaker A-x or medium to small pocket pair. I feel like I was getting my chips in good here. The table was playing tight, so That is why I decided to raise slightly loosely with ATo from MP. Figured I could steal the blinds or pot OTF.

Here is evidence of my winnings:rtr2.jpg

I'm hoping in this last RTR Thanksgiving Freeroll, I'll be able to finally make it into the final table and make a serious run for 1st. That would really help me out.

    Freeroll Bankroll Status:
    Day 1: $0.62
    Day 2: $3.62
    Day 3: $5.42
