    Pikeboy entered the Rivers Casino Poker Tourney!

    The Rivers Casino here in pittsburgh has a bunch of tourneys going on always so i entered into on for this Sunday at 7:15... no carbon freeroll for me lol..

    (They actually have two every Sunday for 40 bucks...)

    It was a 40 dollar buyin plus 5 dollars to add on 25% of your stack...



    registered tonight while i was down there..



    they said an average of 70-90 players play in it but sometimes it hits the limit of 120 players...would be nice to cash in it... first place averages about 900-1000 bucks...

    These small live tournaments have some bad structures. I used to play some of the local $40 and $60 tournaments here in CA and it started off really nice but after a couple of hours everyone was sitting with under 10bbs. So I would say know the blind structure and how long the levels and where the blinds really jump off. Like for example 300/600 to 500/1000. But anyways, good luck and have fun!

    thanks for advice, i will definitely take that into account, the only other one i played down there, i was chip leader at first break and ended up letting blinds harass my stack...

    about to leave in ten minutes!
