Old thread but never play online black jack here is the house advantage if you play the basic stategy
1 deck -0.06344% you have edge
2 deck 0.20181%
6 deck 0.35767%
8 deck 0.37642%
I am someone that has walked out with over 10,000 dollars a bunch playing 2 deck BJ. If you learn card counting all these will favor you. Problem with carbon BJ the rules say 8 Decks in shoe, shuffled every hand

LOL. I made $55 into $600 in 16 hours online, and blew it all when I got drunk and started playing Roulette! Fucking Black man! LOL
