Bovada and the good ol anon setup

Ok I'm about to be getting my GD card this week, and I've been torn between 3 sites to deposit on. Basically it boils down to:
    • BCP: Like the easy fish player pool, not so much the software
    • Carbon: Best current US software I've seen, mostly question marks about everything else
    • Bovada: only heard awesome things about their withdraw success, but.....

I played Bodog a bit back in the day, software was all right, but at the time it had PS and FT to compete with, which was no contest. Now as Bovada, it has a chance to persuade me, except for its newest 'unique' thing compared to the other sites, the dam anonymous tables.

I get their mission statement of wanting casual players and all, but seriously wtf. This gives me several worries about even wanting to go there:

    1. The obvious issue of no way to know your opponents, and those opponents hiding behind the unknown to play really stupidly, this changes the whole idea of adopting any real strategy of play

    2. The ONE benefit of being able to change your play style ruins what I enjoyed most about playing and why I stick in the forums. The freeroll yesterday was going good, I was able to play wider range, then I wanted to use the chat box, but had to stop, VERY easy to identify me by my style of talk, so any benefit of anonymity ruins the social aspect entirely .

I know this is a rehashed subject, so I'm gonna spin the question. What do you think would be the POSITIVE reasons I should choose Bovada to deposit on, besides the easiest withdraw from what I understand. As an incentive, if ANYONE comes up with the reason that makes me decide, yes I will deposit there, I will gift you 500 points. You would have to convince me though, as of right now I'm not choosing to deposit there

I am not really a fan of playing on Bovada. I have cashed out from there a couple of times of the past 6 months, but the WU fees are high. The players are pretty fishy, but they are equally as bad on BCP.... and BCP has P2P transfers, while Bovada does not. I love Carbon, they have the best software, game selection, and they have 4 daily PO FR's. Because PO hosts 4 daily FRs on Carbon, I wouldn't even consider depositing on there. They do not have P2P either. I know that you wanted reasons to deposit on Bovada, but I really can;t find any. Their software is worse than WPN imo. BCP ATW

They have very good customer service. Whenever something goes wrong they seem quick to compensate with extra tourney tickets and such. Also, once you deposit, if you don't play there for awhile they may e-mail you a bribe to come back. Quite a few people have randomly been sent tickets for private freerolls or free money to play with. I was personally given $50 after I hadn't played there for a few months. I'm not saying it's someplace to regularly deposit on, but the free shit definitely makes the first deposit worth it.

***Customer Service, You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, They will tell you the problem to put you at e-z that they will fix it***

Okay to be honest, You can deposit on bovada quick. Like persay i will deposit here in a few mins and after i call bovada it will take 15-20 mins tops to get the 100$ on my account. Second benefit would be to withdraw sucess cause that always helps a solid player play better, I went to withdraw 2 days ago for 360$ rapid transfer, It took 1 day and 14 hours to get the cash in hand. Now that is good stuff. Other than that, They got great mtt's a 20k GTD EVERY night 60$ buyin. They got great promotions, you can use points to enter tourneys, They always have tourneys specials like where theres a big series of tourneys that you can win big money like i know if you know anything about carbon, that carbon used to have. And therefore its solid. When you know you can play for thousands and thousands of dollars and cashout in 1 day and 14 hours, its just a great feeling for real. I've been playing poker for 13 years and the best sites so far have been POKERSTARS #1 and #2 BOVADA. Seeing as im from USA i believe BOVADA is and should be ranked #1 FOR USA Players. They got even cool software, BLACK AND REd and u can make it BLACK AND BLUE, my fav colors to grind poker on it just so happens. Structures are great, deep stack and super stack tourneys. They EVEN have Super turbo tourneys that are really fun too.. Best of all worlds, Play solid play your game and you will succeed. Remember, YOU CAN CASH OUT In 1 DAY 14 HOURS.. CAnt get better then that for USA.

Good luck Hope you decide to take ahold of the bovada Experience

    Bovada

I play on Bovada and I think it's great. Cashout fees are really high though. Min cashout $100. Fee for cashout $50. That's bullshit, but if you win more it's ok I guess. Of course the fees go up too.

If Bovada would lower their fees, it would be a great place to cashout.

admittedly i am a losing cash game player, but over a limited sampling i definitely thought bovada 25nl was weaker than carbon 25nl.

my last few deposits on bovada went very well for me. 3 times i deposited 100 and cashed out double within a week of playing double or nothign sngs. i agree with previous statemetns about the withdrawl fee, but i think you are allowed one free withdrawl per month.

i definitely feel like the 6 man double or nothing format on bovada is favorable. It seems these sng's are comprised of weaker players...many of whom are there because they are deviating from their normal play on the sportsbook or casino. i think the mtts or cash games are probably equal to other rooms.

i feel like the anonymity is good and bad. it takes the edge away from those who have huds but also limits what you know about someone to your observations at one given session.

also this might be for me only, but i thought it was really easy to clear their bonus...i normally did so by depositing on the sports book....i tend to run pretty even on that and i cleared by bonus quickly and would then use the money to play poker.
