    What bankroll to start with

What kind of bankroll should I start with before I start to play micro MTT?

100 buy ins is kind of a rule of thumb. $1.10 buyins = $100 roll. It is possible to use bankroll management with $200 or $300 by playing $3.30, $2.20 and $1.10 games. And taking the occasional shots at $5.50 and much rarer shots at $11

Ya man. I always recommend being more willing to gamble with a smaller bankroll and protecting it as it gets bigger. For instance if you have $20-$50 dollars, instead of trying not to go broke try and play some $5.50s and $11s in order to bink a roll. And then once you bink the roll protect it by following the 100 buy in rule. More often than not you will lose the 20-50 dollars but you can always play freerolls for a few weeks to get that back.

I'm going to try and get my BR up to around $40-$50 within a week or so. I plan on playing just freerolls to do this. Once I do that, I'll try some MTT.

Yeah that is some good advice. I really have played with bad BRM, but recently I told myself that I would take some shots off of PO FR's; but once I got over $100 I would start playing more conservatively. I am now over $300, and I hope to build to over $1000 by the end of January.

Up to over $16 on my BR. Plan on playing a lot more in the next few weeks.
