The local casinos in south Washington and northeastern Oregon were definately the force behind this bill. But whats great about it is that it went no-where. These cardrooms were a major reason I choose to move to Portland when I left Vegas, I sometimes feel like the legislation is following me around the country. Its good to see the lobbyist fall flat on their asses.

Why do they attack poker so much when slot machines and lotteries cost lower income people so much more money every year and develop far sicker gambling addictions?
