Jamie Gold is in hot water with the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City. The 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event winner allegedly owes the casino a little over $50,000.
The Borgata "won a default judgement against Gold for $52,279.47 back in 2010 -- after the casino claimed Gold bounced a check there."
Gold lives in California, so to get the judgement enforced there, the casino had to file papers in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
There has yet to be a ruling in California.

I used to play in L.A. a few years back. His home room was the Bike and he had a really negative rep for similiar things and for being a general douce. This was before his win.

Jamie Gold was a douche! He sat on his stack the whole main event and then donked people towards the final. I think he screwed allen cunningham with some super low hand in the top 4 but it was a while ago, i could be mistaking.

LOL, I don't know if you can give him the title alone. Moneymaker was a deer in headlights after winning. Harrah's (Now Ceasers) was running classes w/ him teaching poker til they figured out he'd no clue to poker really. LOL

I dont think he's that good of a player. He is an IDIOT for bouncing a check to a casino. They should put criminal charges against him for that.
