Notes from the Spanish Revolution: A New Indignado!
I found that to be a real interesting read... thanks for sharing! Not familiar with Spanish laws so I really can't comment on the legality of what went down there. Here in the US we have the Bill of Rights and more specifically the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution which our forefathers wrote to protect against illegal searches. Unfortunately the world we live in today its much like watching Animal Farm unfold and the things you described are going on here all the time.
Thanks for the response. I am American too, just a resident in Spain, and after a decade of living here I was surprised to learn the Police don't need probable cause to search you, and you cannot refuse or call a lawyer. WOW! I felt like I had to post my story as I would deal with a situation like this one differently if the offender were a civilian, but the guy with the badge and gun left me no choice but to press charges and spread the word!
Bumping this because in my opinion, anytime you have the balls to file an official complaint against several overly aggressive undercover cops, you get a free bump.
Thanks for sharing. That is very interesting.
