I've bought at least 100 Toshiba's over the past past 10 years for my employees and myself, and overall they have been very dependable and offer all of the new features needed.

I prefer laptops over desktops because I can use the laptop anywhere in the house. Kids around here have laptops in middle school. Pretty insane, considering they are Macbook Pros.

The more you play, the more you're going to pay. LOL!

I agree with azreal, stay away from the dells! If you have a problem with them it is very hard to fix them.. most of the time you have to have dell products to fix them and most of the time with dells it is very difficult to install more memory! I use and HP had no problems with it!

Sony laptop are the best! But they are kind of expensive...

Laptops from HP used to be good, but I don't trust HP anymore. Asus is good too!

Good luck with your new laptop!

    Happy new year!!
