That is just how they play they want to be consistent so that they don't play different when they are playing bad and when they are playing good.

Exactly what tdeuel214 said- if you always raise the same amount no one knows if you have suited connectors or have Aces.

It's also a good way to make sure small and big blinds don't get to see a flop for cheap/free and hit something.

I am in a bad stretch and am a little apathetic when I am guilty of this. Usually the best way to get out of it is take a few days off. When someones raising every hand, wait a little longer for upper premiums.

i think players do it to try and establish who has a good hand or not.. but they also raise with Absolutely nothing and they get rewarded for it...

Some players are inpatient and can't wait to get a big chip stack or knock players out of the tournament.

theyre aggressive donks. it works well for some people. why is it that people buy into a 5 dollar tourney 5 times and then end up with 100k 10mins later. some of the better players do it on purpose

I think it is a mixture of being loose aggressive and them just playing like a complete idiot. It depends on the tourney, their stack vs the rest of the table, and if they are bored or have recently lost a hand they should of won.

YES, this should be the case of 'correct' answering this thread question! I completely stick with this opinion.

they do it to fish, I have found that if you have a nice starting hand you have to be the aggressor. Otherwise they play rags and bet low hoping for a call so that they can catch on the flop.
