whats the buisness, poker and you the ceo

The first poker cliche that I heard was "Do not raise good company," and today I see the entrepreneur in all of us. Today many people open up their own companies that don't flop. My question is, " If you are CEO of your own company can you replicate the success?"
We the poker players and the tables available, how do we decide where to sit?
