Got into my first tournament...FINALLY...was not in my ready calm self so as you could imagine....I was out quickly. Girlfriend is starting to wonder wth is going on with me...

Don't worry about it, you can't win them all. My local room does a saturday noon $40 buy in that really helped me get used to playing live tournaments

you cant expect to be in the money all the time no matter what mood or state of mind you are in. Noone is that good to cash every time they play. Just have fun with it and don't neglect the GF cause it is hard to play from the street corner lol.

I can honestly say that since I have found poker owned I don't talk to my gurlfriend as much talking to her makes me play bad so she has to wait

haha, definitely not a good look to talk/discuss with wife/gf during a tourney. i've folded some gems that have ended up biting me in the a$$ and vice versa. gl man

is always possible to start the tournament in a good way and get good results, I like when things in our favor.
