i play loose due to the fact that there is only 2 people and if you both play tight you wouldnt see any flops?
Your hand range should really open up HU
You can't wait for premium hands in heads up. You should really play anything better than the average starting hand. Also, I tend to raise a lot more than I would usually.
Defend your button, almost always a raise when in position pre flop.
im notta guy ~ but ...when i have Cards~ im very agressive
raise the button every time. it doesn't matter what your hand is 90% of the time. i play a lot of heads up sit n gos on party poker. and i wouldn't advise playing tight otherwise you're just gunna get crushed.
I would play very loose. I dont think you should raise the button every time, you can just call and play aggressive after the flop... But folding on the button should never happen unless the opponents stack is small enough that you dont want to double him up easily. But even that, it should be rare because your opponent will fold a lot of hands unless he's super short.
My experience when HU in a PO game, I was almost always big stack, so the term "Big Stack Bully" is true because I really bully my opponent. So Christoffer when we are ever HU and I have chips just give up LOL
I try my best I but heads up is hard for me to play because I don't want to play very many hands. It is something I need to practice on.
