    Bankroll questions

How big of a bankroll do I need in order to start playing at the micros and not bust out? I've been playing for a couple of years now so I now what I'm doing. The thing is that this is the first time I start a bankroll from nothing. I play the Carbon Poker freerolls. Will 5 dollars do it?

BRM really doesnt come into it until you hit around the $50 mark...u can see the micro mtts and so should work out that if you have $5 you have enough for four $1 mtss ...thats simple maths :/

Bankroll management is always a factor. Money is money and when you start at rock bottom you really need to be especially careful. No?
I just don't want to go broke and start doing surveys again lol.

Just focus on good profitable poker and play the smallest legit games to start.

i would take it into levels. 5 dollars could do it, but i woud recommend playing more freerolls until you even have more. since they are a free buyin, your not losing any of your bankroll, and you are still able to get a good value out of it, the carbon gmaes have a value usually close to a 60 cent buy in, so i would consider these to be level 0 or 1, i woud continue to play the freerolls until you have enough to play buyins higher then 60 cents comfortably.
