The online game RIFT (which is very much like WOW) will becoming a Free to Play game on June 12, 2013. I enjoy the game but it's majoe problem has always been not enough players. They are now hoping to clear this up with the Free option. Of course you can still have a paid subscription which comes with a bunch of perks.
