I've only had one royal flush in Texas Hold'em (I've had two or three in Omaha), and it was in a $4 tournament on Pokerstars last year. I was in the small blind, the blinds were 100/200 and I had just over 5600 chips left. The player before c/o raised to 1000, and I almost folded my A10 of spades. The big blind called as well.

Flop came KQJ of spades and I checked, BB, checked and OR bet small. I called and BB called. Checked again on the turn and BB checked, and OR bet small again. I went all-in on the river and got called by BB. Almost tripled up, which was more than I really could hope for.

oops, thought your question was toward me you are right though, you don't see a royal flop very often, in fact I don't think I've witnessed a royal flop, at all!
