    Has this idea ever been explored? I wonder if it would help player retention?

    I don't think it would help retain players,cause in the end you still have to make points to play the PO games.

    That's true. Still individual poker clients only allow 1 account as well. Well with the exception of the Merge individual sites.

    My guess is that the tournaments wouldn't have much value. They'd have to have a smaller prizepool which would mean the payouts wouldn't be that great. And, they would still need to earn points.
