Tournament Changes for April

I am going to give PokerStars a month break and see how it goes. There's nearly 0 value there.. $10 prize pool = $300 per month when only 15-18 people join in, it's simply not worth it.


I've increased the 21:00 BCP \ ACR prize pool by $5.00 ($20.00 still PLO)
I've increased the 00:00 BCP \ ACR prize pool by $5.00 ($25.00)

I am still kicking around the idea of adding an early $20.00 Carbon tournament replacing PokerStars OR adding some type of bounty tournament someplace.


I tried to get rotating tournaments on BCP \ ACR. I sent 2 emails and didn't hear back in time for April

very sad for those members who love playing at PokerStars (like me for instance). I saw that there have been 20-60 players!!! OK, yesterday only 15 ... but it is exception, not rule. So what we (PS-like players) should do to be able to 'refund' somehow the points we gathered here ... -> we need to switch to another site (Carbon for instance) ? There is no other workaround ? I'm very disappointed, but understand the policy ...

Merge has better mixed games than BCP/ACR though. No HORSE or badugi on BCP.

Merge couldn't set the bounties @ $0.00 for our regular games eh?

An additional early game would be cool.

Nope, I tried.. Would have to be .01 and MANY users complained they didn't have .01

Actually, this happens often. Think about how often you go all in for your last cent.. Ok you are busted.. you want to play in a PO tourney.. you are busted

I feel like you should add the early tournament on bcp/acr instead of carbon just because there are already more carbon tournaments than bcp/acr. I know more people play in the carbon, but I'm sure that correlates with the higher payouts and the fact that there are more of them throughout the day. Just an idea, obviously do whatever benefits you more.

as a Pokerstar player .. i understand the loss PO is taking with the 11 am Pokerstar Freeroll .. especially with only 15-20 PAYING players and the rest sneaks..

I am glad you increased some of the other prize pools ..

I hope you find something that works in the morning time slot, maybe for now have a Client tourney 50 point buy-in at 11 am ???
